Welcome to my Canadian world

Hi, my name is Íris Björg Bergmann Þorvaldsdóttir and I’m a 23 years old Icelandic girl.
I was born the 2nd of January 1984 and until I became 20 years old, I lived at a farm (Kalastaðir) in Iceland. My parents still live there and I have one brother and sister living in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In 2004 I moved to Canada (because I love it and I known many people there; ever since I was on an exchange there when I was 18 years old) but because the schools are so expensive over there, I decided to move to Denmark and finish (nursing) school there in stead.
I lived in Dublin, Ireland for few months in 2006 while I was doing a placement in nursing as a part of my education. I loved Ireland and the people were so friendly!

So at the moment I’m living in Copenhagen, Denmark and I just started my 3rd year of studying nursing at The nursing school of Copenhagen County. I live at a dormitory with my little cute bunny Joey. My boyfriend’s name is Klaus and he is studying electrical engineering at the Danish Technical University (A.K.A DTU). We are both graduating next year with Bs degree if everything goes acording to plans

I want to do a lot with my education when I finally finish next year. I would like to go to Africa with the Red Cross, live in different places and just enjoy learning and seeing new things.
After I have worked some time, I want to go back to school and become a midwife. I might even go straight to that after I finish next year…who knows! The possibilities are endless!
I have also been interested in going into Engineering for years and if I don’t like Nursing I will definently study that.
